Associate Sales Representative - Medical Device
Territory: Fresno, Bakersfield, Modesto
OVERVIEW
The Associate Sales Rep will be responsible for supporting the sales of an established product line within territory. The primary role is to achieve or surpass sales targets through strategic planning, relationship building, new account targeting, and exceptional customer service. Most of your time will be spent in the Operating Room, calling on multiple specialties, and collaborating with various functional areas to ensure customer satisfaction. You will work with your team to meet regional and corporate financial goals within the Hospital OR / Surgery and Advanced Therapy setting while exceeding revenue targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attain monthly and quarterly sales objectives
- Develop and take initiative for obtaining new business with customers and accounts.
- Business planning: Develop a formal business plan at the beginning of each FY.
- Identify product improvement opportunities for sales, marketing, and product development teams.
- Provide a consultative role in the O.R. environment in accordance with specific product indications.
- Maintain a high level of technical, product, and disease state knowledge.
- Collaboration: Partner with peers when called upon to support case coverage and inventory requests.
- Perform sales administrative duties proactively and in a timely manner.
- Operate within defined budgets and in accordance with corporate policies/procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years experience B2B sales
- 2+ years surgical device or medical sales experience (preferred)
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal skills
- Confidence & ability to communicate with physicians and surgeons.
- Strong negotiation + selling skills.
- Proven track record of developing and executing sales plans.
- Competitive mentality alongside being a great team player.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Compensation: OTE – $100,000, Car Allowance, & Benefits
Travel Requirements: 75% (Field-Based)
