The ideal candidate will play a crucial leadership role in our engineering team, ensuring the development of an exceptional and scalable product.
Required Experience
- 5-10 years of full-time experience in software engineering, with proficiency in the MEAN/MERN stack.
- 2+ years of experience at a major tech company.
- 2+ years of experience at a startup or as a co-founder with experience raising institutional funding.
- Previous experience managing engineering teams.
- Willingness to contribute hands-on coding 30-50% of the time.
- Some experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) or Large Multimodal Models (LMMs).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a top-tier U.S. university.
Preferred Experience
- MS/PhD in Computer Science from a top-tier U.S. university.
- Extensive experience with LLMs or LMMs.
- Experience architecting and building SaaS products from the ground up, either as a founding engineer or as an engineering leader at a startup.
- Experience in building and deploying mobile applications.
Responsibilities
- Design a scalable architecture for our product offering and transition the existing solution to the cloud.
- Work closely with engineers to develop both front-end and back-end components.
- Implement systems to efficiently manage engineering processes and resources.
- Collaborate closely with the founding team to define the engineering roadmap.
- Assist in the growth of the engineering team by recruiting top-tier talent.
- Oversee the engineering organization, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
