Job Summary
The Director of Digital Commerce and Marketing is a newly developed role that will oversee all aspects of our digital commerce across brick and click, pure play and Amazon. This role is responsible for the e-comm P&L and for developing and implementing profitable digital growth strategies including marketing investments, and assortment and merchandising planning.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for developing and implementing all growth strategies across e-commerce channels including marketplaces, wholesale .com and GoldBug DTC site
Sets yearly, quarterly and monthly plans for revenue, spend, and product assortment launch strategies
Manages P&L for all online channels in order to achieve revenue target, margin targets and delivery timelines
Manage and optimize performance of ad and marketing efforts to drive traffic and conversion
Partners closely cross functionally with Merchandising, Design, Product Development Sales and Production Planning to execute on the above
Researches and understands market trends with the ability to read and react quickly
Strong understanding of consumer behavior and ability to collaborate on consumer insight work
Manages product assortment, forecasting, and inventory planning alongside production planning and logistics teams
Manages external paid media agencies to drive results
Knowledge of retailer marketplaces including Walmart and Target and ability to interact directly with the accounts and sales partners to build strategies that impact growth
Plan and develop new processes for DTC efforts including marketing, customer acquisition & retention, newsletters
Partner closely with marketing partners to ensure consistency across .com channels as well as social media and other marketing channels
Required Experience:
10+ years of e-commerce experience including marketplaces & DTC
5+ years management experience
Deep understanding of 3P best practices, including paid marketing, SEO, product pages and promos
Experience building digital merchandising assortments and strategies
Proven track record of launching new products and scaling existing businesses within Amazon and other marketplaces
Strong ability to analyze data and develop recommendations based on analysis
Experience leading and activating digital marketing initiatives for DTC and with marketplace partners
Must be okay with a dog friendly office

Salary Range: $130-$160k
Status: Full-Time
