About the Team: The Global Markets Pre-Trade IT team is responsible for providing Global Macro (Rates, FX), Equity/Securities Lending and Credit businesses with reliable and time-sensitive IT solutions to meet their needs. The team is involved in the different phases of application development: user needs collection, analysis, design, implementation, delivery, support, and maintenance, within an agile framework.
About the Role: We are looking for an Assoc/VP- level IT Business Analyst to support of Global Macro business line, with knowledge of Fixed Income products, trades, and businesses (Interest Rate Derivatives, Interest Rate Term Structures, FX …). The candidate will focus on gathering requirements from traders, write business requirements, build mockup screens or PoC, liaise with IT developers, define, and execute test scripts and coordinate with end-users for UAT. The candidate will also help with planning and status reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with FX & Rates desks to establish a trust relationship with traders and understand their needs and requirements.
- Formalize business requirements.
- Collaborate with the product owners to translate those requirements into development tasks.
- Build mockups or PoC.
- Define and execute test scripts.
- Coordinate user acceptance tests with traders.
- Document and enrich our knowledge base.
Qualifications:
- 3 - 7 years in interest rates derivatives and FX trading/risk as a business analyst in front office.
- Solid knowledge of quantitative finance.
- Understanding of market data, market making, and pre-trade concepts.
- Good experience with Excel spreadsheets development.
- Familiar with Python or C#.

Pay range and compensation package: The salary range for this position will be between $115,000 - $175,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
