We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Component Engineer or Electrical Engineer to join our innovative team. As a key member in our collaborative environment, you will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality departments, providing technical leadership in the meticulous selection of Electrical, Electronic, and Electromechanical (EEE) parts and components for our cutting-edge RF systems and products.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to provide technical leadership in the selection of EEE parts for RF systems and products.
- Update existing source control drawings, considering part availability, configuration control level, and electronic specifications.
- Work closely with engineering and document control to select new EEE parts and generate updated source control drawings.
- Demonstrate expertise in electronic component finishes, including die attach, wire bonding, solderability, tin whisker mitigation, and RoHS compliance.
- Utilize knowledge of alternate sources for bare die and obsolete components.
- Apply expertise in packaged and bare die components such as RF MMICs, PIN diodes, discrete, passives, and integrated analog ICs.
- Navigate commercial, military, and space level operating environments with ease.
- Demonstrate familiarity with reliability standards, including MIL-HDBK-217, NAVSEA SD-18, and similar criteria.
Requirements:
- 3 - 5 years of experience working as a Component Engineer or Electrical Engineer in a military or aerospace environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or similar discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
- Must be a US Citizen and able to attain Security Clearance.
