Title: System Administrator
Logistics: Hybrid in Eden Prairie, MN (3x per week)
Employment Type: 6M Contract
Salary: 35-45/hr
Must-haves
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in systems administration roles.
- Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory, including Group Policy management.
- Strong understanding of Windows server operating systems and services (e.g., DNS, DHCP, File Services).
- Experience with Office 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Plusses
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, CompTIA Security+)
Day-to-Day
- Manage and maintain Active Directory services including user accounts, group policies, and domain controllers.
- Administer Windows-based servers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Oversee Office 365 tenant administration, including user provisioning, license management, and security configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to server and network infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to ensure availability and performance.
- Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to implement new technologies and systems.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for reference and training purposes.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users as needed.
Compensation:
$35/hr to $45/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
