Job Summary:
The Senior Cloud System Engineer is responsible for managing and troubleshooting the organization's cloud and on-premises IT servers, systems, and network. This role also acts as an escalation point for the IT Service Desk.
Responsibilities:
- Design, maintain, test, configure, and administer IT networks and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with systems, applications, and networks, both in the cloud and on-premises, identifying opportunities for technical improvements.
- Provide support to IT department team members and end users through face-to-face, email, and phone communication.
- Serve as level 2 support for the IT Service Desk.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Azure Infrastructure as a Service, App Service, Azure VDI, and administration of Azure SQL and Azure Data Factory.
- Server administration skills including Windows Services, IIS, creating critical alerts, health monitoring, file shares, and advanced print services.
- Experience with Intune and Office 365 administration.
- Expertise in Azure DevOps administration and configuration.
- Knowledge of MS Exchange Server and Exchange Online.
- Proficiency in Azure administration including Entra ID, identity and permissions, Intune (Endpoint Manager), OneDrive, SharePoint, MFA, and Universal Print.
- Skills in PowerShell scripting and remote management tools.
- Networking knowledge including LAN/WAN, VLANs, site-to-site VPN, Layer 3 switches, routing, and firewalls.
- Azure certifications are a plus.
