Job Summary: Under the guidance of the Registered Nurse, the Surgical Technician is responsible for the care and safety of the patient during the surgical procedures, provides technical assistance in the Operating Room; has knowledge relative to the ages of the patients served.
Responsibilities:
- Essential job functions include preparing the room with the nursing staff for the surgical procedure, in a timely and organized manner; correctly practices the principles of asepsis.
- Cleans, disinfects, and sterilizes all equipment in the OR, and Endoscopic Lab
- Coordinates care of the patient with the RN Circulator
- Stocks and replaces CS items, prepares CS inventory sheet
- Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures
- Assists the physician during surgical procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School Diplomas or equivalent
- Current BLS Certification
- Current CST Certification (preferred)

- Salary range: $40K - $50K + Benefits (Health, dental, life, disability insurance and FLEX/HSA benefits available with 403-b option)
