Role Overview:
As an Account Executive, Food Partnerships, you will be responsible for developing, managing, retaining and upselling relationships with key players in the food industry, including food retailers, manufacturers, and quick service restaurants (QSRs). In addition, you will be responsible for overseeing technical implementation in partnership with cross functional partners. This is a critical role in driving Bitewell’s growth through strategic partnerships and ensuring mutual success with our partners. You will leverage your expertise in the food industry to execute sales strategies, negotiate deals, and deliver on revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned partners, maintaining strong, ongoing relationships.
- Manage client needs daily including but not limited to technical implementation, reporting, weekly / monthly meetings.
- Ensure client satisfaction at every level, including ensuring a smooth implementation process.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the seamless integration of partners into our platform and address any business needs or challenges.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of partnerships, delivering insights to both internal teams and external partners to optimize results.
Technical Implementation:
- Oversee the operationalization of each license opportunity from beginning to end
- Manage technical data integrations & feature rollout roadmaps with clients
- Collaborate with internal teams (i.e. tech, product) to ensure smooth partnership launches.
Sales & Partnership Development:
- Work with clients to add additional services or solutions to support their needs, including but not limited to designing Statements of Work, implementing and helping to measure the success of the programs.
- Continuously present Bitewell’s platform, value proposition to current partners, demonstrating how our solutions can enhance their business and customer experience.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive new business opportunities and close sales deals.
- Ensure client satisfaction at every level, including ensuring a smooth implementation process.
Revenue Growth & Sales Targets:
- Consistently meet or exceed retention and upsell sales targets by driving revenue through existing partnerships.
- Prepare and deliver sales forecasts, business plans, and partnership reports to senior leadership.
Market Insights & Strategy:
- Stay up-to-date with trends in the food industry, particularly in retail and QSR, and leverage market insights to inform partnership strategies.
- Contribute to the development of marketing and sales initiatives to expand Bitewell’s footprint in the food sector.
Qualifications:
- At least five years of proven experience in account management within the food industry, particularly selling into and managing relationships with food retailers, manufacturers, and/or QSRs.
- Experience managing clients through technical data integrations & managing feature rollout roadmaps
- Strong network of contacts within the food retail, manufacturing, or quick service restaurant sectors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on results.
- Data-driven approach to sales, with strong analytical skills to interpret performance metrics and optimize partnerships.
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
Pay and Benefits
- $80,00-$120,000 annual salary with eligibility for a meaningful Performance Based Bonus
