WHAT'S THE ROLE?
As an Electrical Engineer you will have a passion for problem solving, a natural curiosity about how things work and the ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in a hands-on field engineering position. You will have implemented a variety of technology solutions onsite for major customers and successfully supported projects from beginning to end.
YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AS AN IENET ELECTRICAL ENGINEER:
- Works on many phases of project lifecycle, from design through project closure.
- Lead project of moderate size and complexity, final project reviewed by direct supervision.
- Contribute to driving projects to completition through hands-on approach.
- Participate in R&D tasks, with supervision.
- Train new hires, Field Technicians and L1 Engineers.
- Subject matter expert on at least one job related technology and strong working knowledge of many other technical aspects of the job.
- Cultivation of strong working relationships, both internal and external.
- On-site contractor and customer training, as needed.
- Quickly troubleshoot to resolve issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BSEE/CSE or equivalent.
- 5+ years' experience in a related position or industry.
- Experience with large project-based field engineering work.
- Ability to travel 30-50% of the time, depending on project load.
- Technical proficiency in design, commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Project Management skills, a plus.
- Working knowledge of networking, Cisco CCNA, a plus.
- 2D CAD/AutoCAD/Autodesk experience, a plus.
- Experiencing working with contractors, integrators and/or end users.
- Possess knowledge of basic network/electrical troubleshooting and product specific requirements for installation.
- Fluency with networking, camera, and radar configuration.
