Role: Electrical engineer (R&D)
Location is Pleasanton, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review existing design to identify CTQs (critical to Quality) from Product Requirements
- Review & update the subassy/component specifications, aligning with CTQs
- Review the component level DFMEA and ensure the subassy/component specifications have listed sampling plans, based on risk levels
- Provide Sustenance support for existing products such as design changes, component obsolescence etc
- Component redesign & Component qualification
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize design and performance.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of components.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, particularly in the medical domain.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven hands-on experience in analog, digital, and power electronics.
- Extensive experience in the product development lifecycle.
- Strong requirement analysis skills.
- Preference for candidates with experience in the medical domain.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with suppliers and vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize designs to meet specific requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Experience with medical device regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and simulation programs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
