We are currently looking for an Account Executive to join our Direct Lending Division in our Irvine, CA satellite office. The role is responsible for identifying leads, maintaining strategic partnerships, and general relationship management intended to drive origination. This sales position is part of a expanding avenue of business with hands-on training and a great opportunity for growth.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Individual contributor generating new business opportunities.
- Identify new lead sources for both end users and dealer partners; while also identifying industries of interest and ways to penetrate those markets.
- Outbound calling to provided leads, new contacts, and existing customer databases.
- Utilize Salesforce, our CRM, to track calls and update notes.
- Develop leads and nurture relationships by organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential customers.
- Educate customers about our finance products and eligibility requirements.
- Ability to build and maintain a customer database through sales, loan extension, and merchant referrals.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of finance options and requirements.
- High level of communication with customers as well as the Credit and Funding departments to ensure all necessary documents required for funding are completed.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
Qualifications/Skills/ Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or business management preferred but not required.
- Highly motivated and target driven individual.
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Microsoft Office skills, CRM sales software (Salesforce) experience a plus.
- Experience in Equipment Finance or Working Capital is a plus.
