TITLE: Senior Application Analyst
LOCATION: Remote (East Coast hours)
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 6-12 months
W2 Only
Senior Application Analyst Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Oracle NMS, including application, business process, data, workflow, and reporting.
- Perform systems and data analysis to identify and deliver effective solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot applications, ensuring optimal system performance.
- Provide heightened support during critical situations and weather events.
- Recommend and implement solutions to address business opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with the Power Delivery business unit to identify and implement application enhancements that improve business processes.
Senior Application Analyst Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, with a major in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical fields.
- Expertise in Linux, Oracle and/or SQL Server databases, WebLogic, and Java. Familiarity with associated products like Reporting Services and Integration Services.
- Experience in Power Delivery, either directly or in a support role, is strongly desired.
- Knowledge of the utility business and application development lifecycle is beneficial.
- Ability to build relationships with key IT personnel and business stakeholders.
Senior Application Analyst Preferred Experience:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage both production support and project-related activities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a flexible approach to problem-solving.
- Risk assessment and mitigation abilities.
- Commitment to working in a team environment, building relationships, and maintaining communication with business and technology partners.
- Availability for after-hours on-call support.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $55-65/hr (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k, and commuter benefits.
