Program Summary:
Family Place is an early intervention, mental health day treatment program for children (between the ages of 3 and 6) who struggle to manage their emotions and behavior at home, within their childcare/school setting and/or within the larger community. Family Place works to promote the positive and healthy development of children by identifying and addressing emotional, social, and developmental needs, by improving parent/child relationships and by supporting parents in learning a variety of ways to respond to the needs of their children.
Position Overview:
• Provide group psychotherapy to children 3-6 as well as guidance, support and clinical direction to the mental health paraprofessionals and interns in the provision of effective day treatment classroom operations.
• Provide family psychotherapy to explore the impact of mental health issues on family relationships, shift negative patterns of relating and improve the relationship between the parent and the child, promoting social, emotional, and behavioral skill development, developmental education and addressing individual client treatment goals from client's treatment plan.
• Clinical leadership with one day treatment family and one outpatient client in addition to assigned day treatment clients from the milieu.
• Assist and collaborate with day treatment team to write and revise treatment plans and establish appropriate goals and objectives for each child in the day treatment. Will continually monitor and assess treatment progress and complete daily case notes and weekly summaries.
• Participate in weekly team meetings, individual/group supervision, curriculum meetings etc.
• Participates in clinical coverage needs as assigned.
• Collaborates with team members (within and outside of St. David's Center) to provide comprehensive day treatment services to assigned clients.

Compensation:
Our employees are our most valuable asset; therefore, we offer competitive pay and benefits. The pay range for these positions starts at $59,615 - $76,065 annually, depending on qualifications (i.e., licensure and experience). This salary reflects a 40-hour workweek, annualized. Any agreed-upon reduction in weekly hours will be reflected in salary commensurately.

Job Qualifications
Education/Licensure:
• A minimum of a master's degree in psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family, or Social Work is required.
• LICSW, LMFT, LPCC or LP licensure through the State of Minnesota's licensing board governing their practice is required. Must be eligible for credentialing with insurance entities strongly preferred.
• Clinical Trainees (LGSW's, LAMFT, LPCC clinical trainees) will be considered if they have proven clinical experience with children and families that is clearly indicated on their resume.
Knowledge:
• Early Childhood Mental Health and Intervention, Attachment Theory, Developmental Psychopathology, Relationship-based Work, Child Abuse and Neglect issues, Classroom and Milieu Work, Family Intervention and work within other systems.
• Developmental Psychopathology, Relationship-based Work, Child Abuse and Neglect issues, Classroom and Milieu Work, Family Intervention and work within other systems.
Preferred:
• Experience with Early Childhood Populations preferred, Supervisory experience preferred (clinical and/or administrative), experience working within close-knit teams preferred, provision of mental health services to families and/or children, in-home work.
