Technical/Functional Skills
- Minimum 6 years of Oracle PL/SQL development using Stored Procedures, Packages
- Experience in debugging data reports from Oracle DWH
- Data Analytical skills
- Ability to communicate issues to Business users and find ways to resolving via code fixes.
- Ability to build data lineage across various systems and complex ETL in legacy and modern technologies
- Good understanding of P&C Commercial Insurance Regulatory and Reserving functions
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oracle PL/SQL Development, Enhancement
- Operational support for 1-2 weeks in a Month
- Work with Business users understand customer’s business
- Build Domain knowledge and correlate to all data layers till row, column level and the interdependencies, business rules [and resolve ambiguities between different data sources]
- Build Data Quality as a practice as part of continuous improvement
- Coordinate with end uses who are mostly Actuaries and their intermediaries
- Migrate Oracle PL/SQL to Snowflake
