A recognized services company in Massachusetts is currently seeking a new Director, Technical Product Owner Marketing for a promising opportunity with their growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of the product ownership of Salesforce applications related to marketing teams, along with other applications in the marketing portfolio
- Act as the main point of contact for Salesforce marketing features and other marketing business systems, taking ownership of their development, improvement, and maintenance throughout the software development lifecycle
- Work closely with collaborators to understand organizational needs and priorities, and effectively translate them into technology development work
- Actively share insights, knowledge, industry practices and developments across the organization.
- Work directly with the Engineering team to ensure solution designs meet requirements effectively
- Lead the roadmap for the SAAS application platform, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, customer needs, and industry trends
- Continuously evaluate and prioritize feature development and enhancement opportunities
- Collaborate with collaborators across the organization, including marketing teams, IT, business leaders, and end-users, to gather requirements, understand challenges, and prioritize needs
- Prioritize organizational needs and translate them into actionable technology development work
- Break down complex requirements into user stories, define acceptance criteria, and create a product backlog
- Work within an Agile development framework, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience and solid understanding of marketing functions, with a focus on marketing within a SAAS environment
- Deep understanding of marketing functions, including knowledge of industry standards, and emerging trends in marketing technology
- Strong knowledge of Marketing processes and functions
- Experience with Salesforce and managing SAAS application platform roadmaps
- Experience with Salesforce, including Marketing Cloud and related modules
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in multi-functional teams
- Experience collaborating with business leadership to align strategy with the technology roadmap
- Previous account or client management experience
- Consulting experience in process optimization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
