Our Client's Planning & Design Division (PDD) is seeking qualified candidates for the “GIS Specialist II” position in their Technology & Innovation Unit.

The selected candidate will join our team of 40+ planners, architects, engineers, and other technical professionals to plan & design our next wave of capital investments, including airfield improvements, terminal improvements, infrastructure improvements, and more.
Position Description Summary
Develop and support Client's ArcGIS Indoors information model (IIM) for wayfinding and space planning. Develop indoor routing network and floor transitions and integrate vehicular, pedestrian, and indoor networks into a comprehensive wayfinding system.
Develop and maintain web and mobile geospatial applications that enable end-users to leverage location intelligence.
Essential Job Duties
• Configuring ArcGIS Pro maps, authoring dashboards, and creating web and mobile applications
• Consolidating Client's assets and space information into a floor-aware maps and applications
• Creating easily accessible and user-friendly web and mobile apps for location discovery and wayfinding
• Participating in combining Client's AutoCAD and BIM data into a single geospatial system of record using ArcGIS Indoors
• Developing new capabilities to support indoor mapping workflows that require 2D and 3D visualization
• Providing solutions to complex problems through application design, product development, and user experiences
• Executing workflows, including data migration and quality control

Professional Experience Level/Other Qualifications
• Five years of experience with ArcGIS platform.
• Minimum two years of professional experience working with Indoors Information Model
• Two years of professional experience in ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Online application development
• Work experience with real-time data and Autodesk products is a plus
Education/Training
Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with a major in Geography, Computer Science, or related field

• Maybe required to work various shifts as needed
• Must live within commuting distance of the West Los Angeles area
• This position offers a hybrid/telework schedule. Telework - Monday and Friday. Onsite - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
