The Outpatient Department of Psychiatry at CHA provides services to individuals, couples, and families who can derive maximum benefit from outpatient care across the spectrum of programs offered within our extensive behavioral health care network. The diversity of the client population served, in addition to the treatment modalities utilized, requires interdisciplinary expertise and collaboration.
The Behavioral Health Clinician on our Outpatient Psychiatry team is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of an assigned caseload of clients, providing a comprehensive range of psychosocial care. As a member of our interdisciplinary care team, their work takes place under clinical and administrative social work supervision, and their caseload typically spans one or more service sites within the service line. Given that this position would serve our Portuguese team and provide care to our Portuguese-speaking client population, the person in this role must be bilingual in Portuguese and English.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Current Massachusetts licensure as an Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker(LICSW)
- Language: Bilingual proficiency in English/Portuguese required
- Work Experience: Minimum of clinical internship training or job experience in clinical human service work with population specific to service site
