You will play a critical role in ensuring our systems operate smoothly, efficiently, and securely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain Linux-based systems in a high-availability data center environment.
- Perform system updates, patches, and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Ensure data security, system backups, and disaster recovery.
- Assist with configuration and performance tuning of servers.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on complex troubleshooting and system optimization.
- Document system configurations, processes, and changes.
- Participate in a rotating shift schedule (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts) to ensure 24/7 operational coverage.
- Work across 4 data centers within a 30-mile radius as needed.
Requirements:
- Basic to intermediate Linux administration skills (RHEL, CentOS, or similar).
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Willingness to work rotating shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
- Ability to work in multiple data centers within a 30-mile radius.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
