A global hedge fund is seeking an Investor Relations (IR) Analyst to join their dynamic and collaborative NYC office. This individual will support the team’s initiatives and must be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting all deadlines and requires a high level of responsibility and accountability to ensure the successful completion of various tasks.
This individual must have experience working in ideally in a hedge fund or financial services as well as experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and CRM.
IR experience at a hedge fund or PE firm is REQUIRED
Location: Hybrid in the office in midtown 4 days a week onsite – remote Fridays
Hours: 8:30-5:30 pm, with flexibility to take calls/meetings from different timezones as needed
Salary is commensurate with experience: 95-125k base range + discretionary bonus + comprehensive benefits package
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of investor universe, investment strategies and competitive landscape
- Ownership of due diligence questionnaires, on-site due diligence meetings, request for proposals and requests
- Ownership, coordination and creation of investor content, including investor reports, investor meeting presentations and communications including:
- Quarterly fund investor letters and presentations
- Annual meeting presentations and investor meeting materials
- Marketing and branding materials
- Market/industry content management on social media platforms and Indus’ website
- Ad-hoc reports, presentations, and communications
- Share ownership of the Investor Relations inbox, monitoring, and responding promptly to investor questions and requests
- Handle the distribution of all investor-related marketing collateral
- Oversee team’s use of its CRM (Salesforce), enter new meeting notes into Salesforce, manage account and contact pages, oversee the pipeline, and ensure all information in Salesforce is accurate and current
- Support the team’s outreach efforts by helping organize investor events, sending outreach emails for roadshows, assisting with meeting follow-ups, and investor research ahead of upcoming meetings
- Help organize cap intro data and introductions provided by the Firm’s prime brokers (peer group analysis, performance information etc.)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant investor relations experience in financial services
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Extremely detail-oriented and strong organization skills
- Strong knowledge of alternative investments universe
