DESCRIPTION:
*Support the management, configuration, integration and implementation of hardware and software including alerting and monitoring, automation, service management, infrastructure and software. Understanding of future departmental strategy and how technology aligns with that direction. Participate in departmental initiatives between various IT and Business groups. Understanding of operational technologies and platforms and how they interact with other departments and processes. Provide technical excellence on tool functionality and departmental processes and philosophies. *Keep the business running through system maintenance, support and monitoring of hardware and software including proactive identification to address potential anomalies. Participate in incident response including major incident and disaster recovery. Use machine learning, data analytics and artificial intelligence to predict and prevent potential outages. *Collaborate with business and IT assisting with identification of candidates and opportunities for automation utilizing continuous improvement, workflows, artificial intelligence and machine learning platforms. Consistently demonstrate clear technical judgement and innovation.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
• Understanding of organizationally approved scripting and markup languages (e.g. PowerShell, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON) • Understanding of automation tools and ability to automate processes wherever possible and create new technologies when needed. • • • Understanding of data analytics capabilities.
