Electrical Technician to support Materials Lab in San Diego
- Installation, commissioning, calibration, operating procedure, experimental design, fixture design, equipment operation, results, reporting, documentation
- Electrical: VNA/PNA, Probe Station, Resonators, and Impedance Analyzer.
- Familiar with polymers, dielectric materials characterization, and S parameters
- Experience with the following machines: DMA, DSC, TMA, TGA, Instron/DIC and Split Hopkinson Pressure bar
- Data analysis and troubleshooting any of the listed machines
- work on material characterization, data analysis, and share data with the team
- Obtain material information needed for Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulations.
- Lab focused on PCB and FPC, Circuit boards (material wise and process wise)
- Ability to collect data and enhance FEA predictions.
- Obtain material information needed for Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulations.
- Ensure Lab has full capability and capacity
- Fill the gap and assist engineers with new systems installed in lab
- Support other laboratory operational requirements e.g. Instron universal tester, high speed camera / image capture, DIC (Digital Image Correlation)
