Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project manager and project team with project documentation and air conditioning control systems, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks' completion.
Responsibilities
- Prep Project submittals
- Follow-up with vendors and subs
- Generate Purchase orders and tracking
- Prep Project logs
- Internal job management logs
- Solicit Vendor quotes
- Support in CO estimate
- Organized project files
- Bi-Weekly PM preparation
- Basic Project Master proficiency
- RFIs generation and tracking
- Attend monthly JTD meetings with PM
- Manage Small projects up to $50k
- Attend MEP meetings
- Hire Elec Subs
- Purchase orders and tracking
- Basic client interaction
- Organized project files
- CO Estimating (entry level)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
- 1 - 3 years' of experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
