Trislot is headquartered in Belgium where our original manufacturing facility is still in operation to this day. We also have fully functioning operations in China and in 2021 we opened our Houston, TX plant which houses an engineering division as well as a manufacturing division.
Position Focus:
· Maintain and support our existing customer base.
· Expand business where main target customers have been preidentified.
· Develop and add new customers/applications to our portfolio utilizing market analysis.
Responsibilities:
- As Technical Sales Engineer you will initially take over an existing customer base and act as an account manager to learn the ins and outs of our business.
- You will receive training on our products and technologies, as well as a database of existing and possible customers with contact info to give you a head start.
- After the induction period you will expand your customer portfolio by creating new opportunities and find/identify new applications/potential markets for our products.
- You will define the needs of our customers, and you will translate/communicate this to our engineering and production department.
- In cooperation with our engineering staff and our commercial team, you will prepare and manage quotations and orders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business with an affinity for technology or a technical degree with an affinity for performing sales functions is required.
- 3+ years of transferrable experience in technical sales roles
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Attentive with an analytical mind to fully understand the needs of the customer.
- Punctual customer follow-ups and consistently striving towards long-term relationships.
- Ability to function in an autonomous context.
- Frequent domestic travelling in the US (up to 50% of the time).
