Healthcare Senior Technical Program Manager – Job Description
Mastek is growing it’s Healthcare Life Sciences practice and is seeking an accomplished Senior Healthcare Technical Program Manager with 18-20 years of experience in the healthcare technology sector to work out of customer location in Minneapolis, MN.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing telehealth solutions, leading legacy modernization programs using modern digital stacks like React, Microservices, Headless apps, Cloud etc.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Program Oversight and Accountability:Provide end-to-end oversight of large-scale, complex healthcare digital transformation, legacy modernization, and telehealth implementation programs.
- Ensure delivery within scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- US Healthcare ExpertiseLeverage experience with healthcare payer/provider systems involving EHR/EMR integration, care management and coordination.
- Implement solutions for virtual primary care, urgent care, and virtual mental health services.
- Strategic Planning and ModernizationCollaborate with Technical Architects and Product/Business consultants to assess customer technology and develop modernization roadmap and implementation plan.
- Drive modernization of legacy technologies into modern stacks using React, microservices, and cloud platforms.
- Project Initiation and ExecutionLead large engagements from the discovery phase, understanding customer needs.
- Develop implementation roadmaps and manage execution within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Business Value and ROIDevelop compelling business value propositions and calculate return on investment (ROI).
- Quantify outcomes to demonstrate program benefits.
- Stakeholder EngagementEngage with diverse internal teams and customer stakeholders to deliver optimal services.

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Healthcare Informatics, or related field; Master's preferred.
- Certifications: Mandatory PgMP or PMP; preferred certifications in cloud technologies, microservices, or healthcare IT systems.
- Domain: AHM-250 or F-AHM certifications.
Experience:
- 18+ years in technical program management within healthcare.
- Proven experience implementing virtual health solutions, legacy modernization and technology transformation initiatives for US healthcare customers.
- Expertise in modern digital stacks (React, cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP, microservices).
- Global experience managing teams across cultures (Service industry background preferred).
- Extensive stakeholder and vendor management.
