JOB SUMMARY FOR SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST:
- The main function of a supply chain analyst is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. A typical supply chain analyst is responsible for reviewing and distributing production, work and shipment schedules and compiling reports on inventory levels, cost, etc.
- Candidate will be expected to execute the operational duties and support regional HA business expansion. This is a cross-functional role which includes communicating with both internal and external partners. Motivated individual, customer centric, strong team player with the ability to make decisions in the best interest of the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST:
- Order management including but not limited to, site management, optimization, DO creation, shipment monitoring.
- Inventory feed, stock out recovery, assortment management as well as in stock reporting
- Supporting call center by sending daily supply ETAs and preparing weekly stock balancing requests.
- Communicate product supply to Sales Team and Order Management.
- Identify and resolve complex customer order issues/problems in conjunction with Sales and order management team
- Reporting and Root cause Analysis
- Daily interaction regarding product availability, allocation, and transition planning.
- Proactively identifies and challenges activities that will detract from planned objectives
- Maintain a high efficiency workflow process
- Process innovation and creative thinking
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Collect, document, and manage information pertaining to accounts i.e. order rhythm, service level expectations, process flows, ETA information
- Work with logistics planners - outbound logistics issues and service expectations account specific
- Examine documents, materials and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy and conformation to standards and specifications.
- Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities.
- Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.
- Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST:
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or 3-5 years’ work experience in relevant field
- Solid experience in a forecasting/allocation environment preferred, or strong experience in logistics or operations.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor and materials.
- Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Competency in SAP Systems.
