Overview
Our client is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide technical assistance and support for hardware, software, and networking systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT support and troubleshooting. The role involves responding to inquiries, diagnosing technical issues, and assisting with installations and configurations.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for software, hardware, and network systems
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues for end-users
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems
- Manage tickets through the help desk system, ensuring timely resolution
- Perform routine system updates, backups, and maintenance
- Provide basic training and guidance to end-users on IT systems
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related role
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
- Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs)
- Familiarity with common software applications (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skill
