What You’ll Do:
As the Manufacturing Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the Machine Shop, Sliding Door Fabrication, Hollow Metal Door Fabrication, and Quad Systems. Your leadership will drive efficiency, safety, and quality across all manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with supervisors, set clear goals, maintain KPIs, and implement improvements that enhance productivity and workplace conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the daily operations of the Machine Shop and fabrication areas, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Champion safety and compliance, fostering a culture of responsibility.
- Recruit, train, and develop a skilled team, providing timely performance feedback.
- Collaborate with other department heads to optimize production schedules and meet customer demands.
- Engage in product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with the Quality Control team to uphold the highest manufacturing standards.
- Work closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and maintain strong relationships.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective inventory control processes.
- Set production goals to maintain optimal stock levels of finished goods.
What You Bring:
- Strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on team development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/MRP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
- A keen eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Experience reading blueprints and shop drawings is beneficial.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; further education in manufacturing or related fields is a plus.
5+ years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing setting.
Fabrication or CNC machining experience is preferred.
