Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Dallas, TX. As a Director of Construction, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction projects and ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders. You will lead, direct, and manage a team of construction professionals. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing construction policies and procedures, managing relationships with vendors and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction management or related field
- Experience managing large-scale construction projects
- Experience in team leadership and management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Knowledge of construction industry regulations and codes
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proven track record of successful project completion
- Prior experience in commercial construction is a plus
