Pay rate: $50-$65/hr

BEPC is seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our team in support of a high-impact project for a government agency. This role will be focused on the development and implementation of enhancements to the Financial Data Warehouse. If you are an experienced business analyst with a strong background in data systems, SQL, and Agile methodologies, we encourage you to apply.
Position Overview: As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in gathering, analyzing, and defining requirements for system modifications and enhancements. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that the development aligns with business needs and technical specifications. You will also coordinate with technical teams for system demos, scrum meetings, and user communications. This position requires a solid understanding of Agile environments and may involve on-call support depending on the project phase.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for modifications to the Financial Data Warehouse.
- Develop detailed business requirement documents, user stories, and system designs.
- Facilitate and coordinate with technical teams, supporting system demos and scrum meetings.
- Communicate effectively with users to ensure clarity and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in systems testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide on-call support as necessary, depending on the project phase.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including experience with SQL and system reporting (Oracle, SQL).
- 6+ years of experience in Agile Software Development Methodologies.
- Experience with unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Preferred experience with data warehouse applications and database reporting features.
- Preferred experience with Jira and project/product management.

Work Hours and Location:
- This is a remote position within Texas, with core work hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Occasional work outside regular business hours, including weekends or holidays, may be required based on project needs.
