JOB SUMMARY
Vaco Technology is currently seeking a Service Desk Technician for a Direct-Hire opportunity located in Irving, TX 75063 (onsite 5-days per week). The Service Desk Technician will provide first-level technical support to internal end-users. The Service Desk Technician will troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues, manage service requests, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. The Service Desk Technician must possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused approach. Additionally, the Service Desk Technician will support clinical technology, including supporting Epic (EHR) and ensuring devices and systems are functioning properly.
- Provide Tier I Support to End-Users - Email / Phone / In-Person Deskside Support
- Efficiently Diagnose / Resolve Hardware / Software / Network Issues
- Manage / Prioritize Service Requests / Incidents Effectively via Ticketing System
- Document / Track Service Requests / Incidents - Ensure Timely Resolution / Follow-Up, etc.
- Support Setup / Configuration of New Hardware / Software
- Provide 1-on-1 End-User Issue Resolution - Remote Desktop Tools / Phone / In-Person Deskside Support
- Manage Assigned Tickets - Ensure Timely Issue Resolution / Focusing on End-User Needs
- Create / Maintain Documentation / Knowledgebase Articles - IT Systems / Network Diagrams / Workflow Diagrams / Troubleshooting Procedures, etc.
- Promptly Respond to IT Emergencies - System Outages / Minimize Operational Downtime
- Collaborate with Appropriate Teams for Escalation / Complex Issue Resolution
- Provide Training / Support to End-Users
- Support Clinical Technology - Troubleshooting / Maintaining Medical Devices / Systems
- Support Epic (EHR) - Troubleshooting / Resolving EHR-Related Issues
JOB REQUIREMENTS- Service Desk Technician (2+ years) - Hardware/Software Support / Desktops / Laptops / Printers / Mobile
- Network Support - DNS / DHCP / TCP/IP / File/Print Server / Network Bottlenecks / WAP
- Windows Support - Office / O365 / M365 / Active Directory / Exchange / Windows Server
- Create / Maintain Documentation - IT Systems / Network Diagrams / Workflow Diagrams / Troubleshooting Procedures, etc.
PREFERRED (not required)- Certifications - A+ / ITIL / MCP, etc.
- Clinical Technology Support - Troubleshooting / Maintaining Medical Devices / Systems
- EHR (Electronic Health Record) Support - Troubleshooting / Resolving Epic-Related Issues
