Contractor needed in eVTOL Technology
Role: Systems Engineer, integration
Location: California, US
I'm currently working with a leading Aerospace organization involved in cutting-edge technology (in eVTOL) and advanced aerospace systems. The organization is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team.
As a Systems Engineer you will be joining a team responsible for integrated systems on the whole vehicle, such as Flight controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading Systems integration e.g. ensuring all subsystems (avionics, propulsion, power, etc.) work together effectively.
- Develop and manage system architecture, requirements, and interface definitions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot, validate, and verify integrated systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and certification processes.
- Contributing to design reviews, testing, and validation
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of Aerospace/ EVTOL experience is essential - DO178 / DO254 or ARP4761
- Experience in systems integration - ideally in Flight Control Systems
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles (e.g., requirements management, V-model, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with experience in simulation, modeling, and systems analysis tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
