We are a high-growth, Google Ventures backed start-up focused on reshaping the energy sector through bi-directional EV charging. Our cutting-edge chargers can charge EVs at 500kW – faster than any other charger in America – but are also small enough to be installed in space constrained urban settings. We have deployed our proprietary technology already in Midtown Manhattan, and over the next few years aim to develop the fastest network nationwide. Job Overview
As an Operations and Grants Associate, you will touch all parts of the business as we scale our charging network nationwide. A particular focus of this role will be developing and executing a grant and government contracts strategy. Example job roles and responsibilities could include:
- Develop and implement efficient systems and workflows to support rapid expansion.
- Collaborate with the Business Operations team to develop and execute strategic initiatives
- Work with Business Development team to build a robust sales motion for identifying and securing high-value public agency contracts for equipment sales and site development,
- Assist in the coordination of various projects, including site buildouts and new initiatives, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project goals
- Identify and pursue suitable grant opportunities and public contracts, develop comprehensive proposals, and manage the submission processes,
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information, develop compelling narratives, and ensure timely completion of deliverables,
- Develop project descriptions and content, with input from team members and stakeholders, to ensure successful grant application and bidding processes.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Four-year bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, public policy, or a related field,
- 2-4 years of experience in project management or business operations,
- Experience working with government agencies and/or on grant applications,
- Solid understanding of federal and state grant guidelines and procurement processes,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
- Strong organizational and time management skills, and
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (a must) other Office Suite, Graphic design, Adobe skills are a plus.

Compensation
Gravity offers a competitive compensation package that reflects your skills, expertise, and contribution to the success of our company. The typical base pay range for this role is USD $80,000 - $110,000 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for other compensation. All employees receive stock options as part of compensation packages.
