Title: Data and Applications Assistant
Agency: Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources
Location: One Capitol Hill, Providence, RI (Hybrid 3days onsite)
Hybrid schedule: For discussion. Vehicle access required for meetings and events.
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Supervision: Reports to Administrator, Energy Efficiency Programs
General Statement of Duties: The Data and Applications Assistant will play an integral role in helping to implement energy efficiency programs facilitated by the office including processing rebate application submissions, managing incoming calls and customer service inquiries, collecting and entering data in databases and maintaining accurate records of valuable information for the office’s federal home energy rebate programs, Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative programs, and other energy efficiency programs that may be implemented by the office in the future.
Responsibilities:
• Transfers data from online portal format to program spreadsheet
• Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information
• Creates and updates spreadsheets with program data
• Sorts and organizes data for reporting
• Verifies data accuracy and organizes program information for internal use
• Processes application and account source documents by reviewing applicant documents
• Maintains applicant confidentiality and protects operations by keeping information confidential
• Engages with applicants and assists with basic rebate and application questions

Education and Experience Requirements:
