Our client is pioneering the production of carbon-negative Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) to drive the next era of environmentally friendly, sustainable aviation. As a Plant Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operations of their Demonstration Plant while supporting the company’s long-term sustainability and growth objectives.
Below is a list of the key responsibilities for the role, whilst not exhaustive, that you’ll need to be able to perform.
- Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring efficiency and high performance.
- Work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement operational improvements.
- Set and monitor performance metrics to track progress and meet company goals.
- Manage budgeting and financial aspects of the plant.
- Develop long-term operational strategies that align with the company’s growth and sustainability targets.
- Ensure excellent service delivery to customers.
- Lead and motivate the plant team, fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and collaboration.
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or a related field).
- 7+ years of experience in plant management, with a focus on operational improvements.
- Proven expertise in managing plant operations, including budgeting and business planning.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Advanced certification in Plant Management or Operations (preferred).
