Job Summary: Event Management Process team. This critical role involves identifying key failures through alerting and monitoring, and taking necessary actions to mitigate the risk of recurrence. The ITIL Process Manager will lead a team responsible for the bank’s technology stability, steering strategy management, and the ongoing development of event management policies and processes. The role is committed to delivering operational excellence and maintaining robust partnerships with business technology, risk compliance, and audit teams to accelerate enhancements, strengthen oversight, and manage process health and controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify key failures through alerting and monitoring, and take actions to mitigate risks of recurrence.
- Lead the team responsible for the bank’s technology stability, including strategy management and development of event management policies and processes.
- Ensure delivery of operational excellence and maintain strong partnerships with business technology, risk compliance, and audit teams.
- Participate in all related activities, initiatives, and projects to support the bank’s transformation and modernization objectives.
- Develop and maintain compliance and risk frameworks, including Process Risk Controls (PRC).
- Update and maintain procedures to align with policies and standards.
- Manage relationships with lines of business to ensure smooth implementation of significant changes.
- Provide responses for targeted assessments by regulatory bodies such as OCC and FRB.
- Handle audit and risk compliance activities, including managing risk items and ensuring timely resolution.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of compliance and risk frameworks, including PRC (Process Risk Controls).
- Experience in managing ITIL processes in a large enterprise-level environment.
- Foundational knowledge of general bank policies, regulations, programs, and procedures.
- Strong understanding of the ITIL framework and its application in a global technology environment.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing and maintaining ITIL processes.
- Demonstrated analytical and IT risk management skills.
- Innovative thinking and strategic focus with the ability to challenge the status quo.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present information confidently and clearly.
