Masis Professional Group is seeking a Plant Manager for a manufacturer that delivers cold chain solutions to the biopharma industry. This is a full-time Permanent role.
The Plant Manager is responsible for leading the Service Center team, in achieving outstanding customer service, high productivity, and quality standards, while maintaining profitability objectives. They will be responsible for developing and optimizing processes to achieve the quality, output, and cost control goals of the company. This position will manage staffing to ensure orders are completed on a timely basis and quality objectives are achieved. This role works closely with the Supply Chain and Quality teams.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor plant operations to meet or exceed safety requirements, quality standards, delivery goals, and cost objectives through effective utilization of personnel and equipment.
- Develop, analyze, and report on the plant’s daily, monthly, and annual key performance indicators. • Develop and execute production plans to meet or exceed the customer delivery expectations. • Establish a culture of consistent adherence to quality standards and procedures • Responsible for staffing and ensuring that employees are properly trained • Coach and develop team members to be high performance contributors • Manage the relationship with local staffing agencies to support workforce needs • Develop and implement business strategies for creating or improving processes and procedures to improve corporate performance
- Monitor departmental performance against goals ensuring that progress is being made, and that corrective action is taken if necessary. • Manage the organization of the warehouse and inventory of materials and supplies • Ensure inventory accuracy is maintained through the use of material cycle counts and accurate ERP transactions.

Qualifications/Experience:
- Proven experience (minimum of 5 years) in site management within a manufacturing environment
- Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs, lean manufacturing, and procedures
- Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and their use in a manufacturing environment
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication (written & verbal), interpersonal, and team building skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally as part of an established and growing team
- Experienced in conflict resolution
- Excellent problem solving and negotiating skills
Travel & Availability:
Minimal travel required.
