Our client is a NE Ohio, rapidly expanding industrial manufacturer. They are searching for a hands on leader, with a coach/player mentality for their newly created Director of Manufacturing.
You will direct manufacturing operations for the plants. Build and develop processes and support strategic direction in Operations. As well as improvement initiatives in safety, quality, cost, and employee relations
The opportunity
- Establish operations standards for safety, on-time delivery, quality, cost control, and waste reduction
- Work closely with engineering and operations to increase overall efficiency
- Develop and provide reports and guidance to Senior leadership on performance, challenges and opportunities
- Direct and implement manufacturing policies and CI initiatives throughout the organization
What we are seeking
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in a leadership role in manufacturing
- Machining experience/background
- Passionate, results driven, proactive
- Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems
- Excellent communication skills and business acumen
