Due to an internal promotion, we are looking to add a talented and customer service-oriented Project Coordinator to join our Cincinnati team. In this role, you will be responsible for working with our account management teams to secure needed inventory for shows. The majority of this focus would be around flooring options, but you would also work on a support team that supplies other internal services.
Additionally, this role would work with our external vendors to purchase goods and plan logistics and production of purchased assets.
You will report directly to the VP of National Operations. Position does require being onsite full time.
Salary is $60-65,000
What You’ll Do:
- Manage flooring and other orders in inventory control management software.
- Implement, follow, and enhance SOP policies and procedures.
- Fulfill trade show and event equipment orders in a timely, cost efficient and effective manner.
- Check out and check in of show site equipment.
- Managing warehouse associates, monitoring work, and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment.
- Communicate with warehouse, transportation and event staff all order details and requirements.
- Assist other department heads as needed.
- Manage Warehouse inventory and assets.
- Work with vendors to produce/process inventory.
- Some travel is required, less than 25%.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
- Project management background.
- Inventory management background.
- Understanding of transportation, distribution, and logistics.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with exceptional planning and follow-through abilities.
- Proven management skills, leading and motivating a team of people, delegating work, and explaining ideas.
- Experience in trade shows or related industries preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
- Highly motivated, self-starter who’s flexible and has a positive attitude.
- At least 3 or more years of experience in a project management role.
