What we are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Hardware Engineer to design, implement, and troubleshoot complex systems involving FPGA, microprocessor, and DSP components, with a strong focus on high-speed interfaces such as Ethernet, PCIe, USB, LVDS, and SERDES. The role involves working on cutting-edge RF and Microwave applications, including projects that utilize SOSA (Sensor Open Systems Architecture).
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and debug systems with complex FPGA, microprocessor, and DSP components, including high-speed data interfaces like Ethernet, PCIe, USB, LVDS, SERDES, etc.
Perform board-level debugging of hardware, FPGA, identifying and resolving issues related to high-speed interfaces, power integrity, and signal integrity.
Ensure hardware systems comply with SOSA (Sensor Open Systems Architecture) standards.
What candidate will Be Doing:
Analyze and understand FPGA schematics and glue logic, coordinating with FPGA engineers to address board-level issues.
Collaborate closely with software and systems engineers for seamless integration, while managing hardware development projects.
Create and execute test plans, perform root cause analysis, and conduct thorough testing of electronic circuits and systems.
Utilize hardware tools, testing equipment, and programming tools to validate designs and resolve issues.
Manage the entire circuit card design lifecycle, including requirements capture, schematic design, component selection, signal integrity analysis, simulations, and thermal analysis.
Stay informed on emerging high-speed digital design technologies and apply innovations to improve system designs.
