Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Communications Coordinator to support association management, communications, and workforce development efforts. This role is ideal for a task-oriented individual who is passionate about marketing and communications and has a strong understanding of nonprofit and association management. You will assist in developing and executing marketing strategies, managing communications initiatives, and supporting various association management tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and execution of marketing and communications strategies that support the organization’s mission and objectives.
- Manage communications across multiple platforms, including email, social media, and the organization's website.
- Support workforce development and government affairs initiatives through targeted communication efforts.
- Collaborate with the membership team to enhance member engagement and communication.
- Assist in the planning and promotion of events, ensuring cohesive messaging and branding.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and communications strategies.
- Provide general support for association management tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with nonprofit and association management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
