Adams & Martin Group is looking for a Legal Billing Specialist to join our client's downtown St. Louis firm. The ideal candidate thrives on creating processes, is meticulous in their organization and consistent and reliable in their follow up.
The law firm offers a friendly office environment with standard hours of 8am-5pm Monday- Friday. Essential Job Functions
- Ensure all details are entered into eBill portals in a timely manner.
- Run monthly prebills for distribution to firm.
- Make necessary corrections to prebills as needed before billing.
- Ensure payments are posted in a timely manner.
- Respond to internal/external inquiries in a professional manner.
- Process and prepare invoices for clients/vendors.
- Maintain queues daily to process invoices electronically.
- Process appeals in eBill portals, monitor, and follow up as needed.
- Monitor AR and ensure follow up on past due amounts.
- Apply incoming payments to correct accounts and keep accurate financial records.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or related field or equivalent experience
- At least two years legal billing experience, preferably with an insurance defense law firm
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and Adobe Acrobat
- Familiarity with eBill Hubs, T360, Legal X, CounselLink
- Experience with Tabs3, Centerbase, or similar a plus.
Salary range: $50K to $60K
