Windows Engineer is required for a leading Quant Research firm who have recently moved to a new office in Downtown Dallas.
The organisation are a data-driven organisation who use near-infinite computing power to deliver world leading research in the financial field. You will join a key infrastructure team who have underpinned the success of this incredible organisation, and will be backed by 20 years of success.
What they're looking for:
- Expert level Windows fundamentals
- Strong Infrastructure as Code commercial experience
- Advanced PowerShell, Ansible and Python experience
- Understanding of CI/ CD pipelines
- Good Microsoft AD management exposure, including DNS, PKI, DCHP
- Strong VMware/ vSphere virtualisation experience
- Other experience includes Hashicorp, Prometheus, Grafana etc.
What you'll do:
- Maintain, optimize and enhance a huge windows-based infrastructure
- Upgrading current applications and researching/ implementing cutting-edge technologies
- Manage patching, deployment etc. of software deployments
- Automate Windows build and decommissions, using Ansible and Jenkins
- Manage the Microsoft remote infrastructure
