TECHNICAL TRAINER (On-site | Appleton, WI)

Fire System Design Works, LLC is rapidly growing operations and looking to expand our team to include a Technical Trainer in Appleton, WI.
The Technical Trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering sprinkler system training to design engineers and others throughout the organization.

Technical Trainer Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team on preparing presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Review project opportunities received via email, bid solicitation service (Procore, Building Connected, etc.) and confirm bidding status.
- Set up project bid folders complete with all project documentation.
- Manage contract flow process ensuring all steps on checklist are implemented and adhered to.
- Conduct market research regarding industry trends, competitor analysis, and market analytics.
- Prepare and distribute sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Maintain and update customer databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
- Act as company liaison for outside industry associations and organizations the Company has affiliation with.
- Attend weekly sales meetings.
- Assist sales team in additional administrative duties as needed.
Technical Trainer Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in fire protection engineering, mechanical engineering, or a combination of experience and training, such as an associate in architectural or mechanical design with 5 or more years of sprinkler systems design experience.
- Working knowledge of one or more of the following CAD software platforms: AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk BIM 360, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, HydraCAD, AutoSprink, SprinkCAD, or SprinkFIT.
- NICET Level 3 or greater certification is preferred.
- Prior experience as an instructor or trainer is preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
