We are seeking a skilled business analyst to help drive the development of innovative digital products that makes vacations effortless. We are looking for a business analyst that has strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex data into clear actionable recommendations. This role will be in support of various branches of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and Analyze internal business requirements through discussions with Product Manager(s) to interpret customer insights and business goals, ensuring the implementation of effective solutions to meet all objectives.
- Translate requirements into functional designs for development and implementation by developing, reviewing, and editing comprehensive user stories that include, but are not limited to:
- Functional requirements
- Non-functional requirements
- Business rules
- Gherkin acceptance criteria
- API data Mapping
- Accessibility best practices
- Analytics reporting requirements
- Reviews test cases and creates comprehensive reviews by logging bugs, and closing all user stories for various branches of our organization.
- Managers the scope of applications, related changes and collaborate with stakeholders on the evaluation of feasibility, efforts, and cost to implement solution.
- Regularly communicate progress, blockers, developments, risks, and issues impacting the project.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience, with at least 2 years of working in the digital industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study or relevant work experience.
- Proven ability to technical and user requirements with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven ability to deliver requirements with Gherkin Acceptance Criteria.
- Proven analytics and quantitative skills; ability to leverage data and metrics to justify project scope, make informed decisions and support strategic recommendations.
- Experience with technical, user and business issues in a fast-paced digital organization.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication and project leadership skills, including an ability to communicate and influence at an executive level.
- Comfortable working with bi-coastal and international teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Object Oriented UX.
- Experience using hypothesis driven design.
- Operations experience in a Theme Park Industry.
- Experience in digital analytics, comfortable with SQL.
- Experience with Snowflake and Tableau.
- 1+ years working on products that leverage Natural Language Understanding, Machine Learning, Large Language Models, Knowledge Aggregation or Dynamic User Personalization.
- Has understanding of shared and unique aspects of various branches of our organization technology stacks, architecture, and business rules.
