Account Reimbursement Manager – WEST

Our client’s mission is to develop novel PET tracers in the field of molecular imaging that improve early detection and characterization of chronic and life-threatening diseases, leading to better therapeutic outcomes and improved quality of life.
The role of the Account Reimbursement Manager will focus on reimbursement of the company's Imaging’s amyloid PET product and any future applicable products. The Account Reimbursement Manager will work directly with customers, imaging sites and referring physician offices, to educate and support them to gain access services and reimbursement for the company's products.
JOB DUTIES:
- Provide accurate reimbursement information and contribute to the formulation of reimbursement strategies and education material and presentations to be used internally and externally
- Provide information to imaging facilities and other customers for submitting claims, prior authorizations, and handling of approvals and addressing denial appeals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with providers
- Collaborate with Key Account Managers (KAMs) to leverage access opportunities and overcome access obstacles to amyloid imaging
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure that all applicable reimbursement support services are optimized for target payers
- Provide appropriate reports and tracking of customers, interactions, and results in CRM
- Work collaboratively with other functional areas to ensure regional customer reimbursement support
- Other projects as determined by the Director of Market Access and External Affairs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with 3-5 years working in reimbursement, managed care sales/marketing or related field.
- 5+ years demonstrated experience and success in healthcare industry, preferably imaging, diagnostics, or pharmaceuticals.
- Ability to work directly with hospitals/imaging centers on payer specific issues.
- Demonstrated understanding of healthcare, payers, coverage and reimbursement issues, and compliance laws and regulations.
- Ability to manage change within a dynamic organization and an evolving health care marketplace
- Ability to lead/facilitate live training and education.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities with a high degree of initiative.
- Analytical, problem solving, and influencing skills, appropriately balanced with strong interpersonal and teaming skills.
- Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation) skills with ability to interact with all levels of management for both internal and external customer base.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage high impact relationships and projects
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 60%) Operate in a compliant manner that aligns with company policies in all activities and communications.
Company offers a base salary of $130-135k, 15% bonus potential and an annual car allowance of $12,000, as well as stellar benefits
