Position Details
The Senior Finance Associate will be based out of a home office located anywhere within New York and report to the Chief Financial Officer.
Position Overview:
As At Home Solutions expands its service lines and diversifies its revenue base, the Senior Finance Associate will support the CFO in ensuring that the organization’s financial functions reflect a greater level of sophistication. The Senior Finance Associate, will support financial sustainability by providing insightful reporting and analysis of both historical and projected financial information to inform decision-making. Acting as a key thought partner to the CFO and senior leadership, the Senior Finance Associate will continuously build financial capacity and enhance operational efficiency across the Finance team and processes and, by extension, the organization.
Specific Responsibilities:
Financial Operations
- Support the CFO in developing key financial performance metrics for the organization and monitoring and reporting on progress against those metrics.
- Identify and lead initiatives in pursuit of the organization’s strategic goal of financial sustainability.
- Monitor, identify, and execute cost-cutting initiatives through competitive procurement of services
- Monitor Accounts Receivable on a weekly basis to ensure timely payment and collection of billable services
- Support the CFO to ensure that the software’s behind Billing, Payroll, and Accounts Receivable are working smoothly
Accounting, Audit, and Ad Hoc Reporting
- Support the CFO to create new financial reporting as well as necessary data flow for appropriate region/service level
- Manage annual external audits, interfacing with external auditors, responding to requests and inquiries from the auditors, coordinating across teams to collect and provide accurate information in a timely manner.
- Manage the preparation and submission of the annual Statistical and Cost Reports to the NYS Department of Health.
- Providing reports annually for insurance renewal (Workers Compensation, General & Professional Liability, and Medical Insurance)
- Supporting the CFO in ad hoc reporting for decision making, cost-cutting initiatives, and external stakeholders.
Collaborative Performance

- Serve as a key liaison between finance and other departments to ensure alignment with business goals and effective communication of financial data.

Qualifications and Competencies:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree required; degree in accounting, finance, or a related field strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience is required.
- Proven experience as a financial leader or senior finance position with at least 3 years in a similar role.
