Job Description: HRIS Analyst
Company Overview:
Join a respected financial services firm based in New York City, offering a hybrid remote work model—requiring four days in the office each week. This role necessitates experience with Workday software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with HR personnel and organizational leaders to define both short- and long-term objectives for the information department and systems; create a strategy for modifying or replacing HRIS applications and modules to achieve these goals.
- Evaluate the current system and its usage; recommend enhancements such as training, customizations, and improvements to optimize the HRIS's value and efficiency.
- Generate reports and present insights and suggestions to the HR director and other executive leaders.
- Identify, recommend, and develop custom functionalities and documentation, including automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
- Collaborate with fellow analysts and HRIS staff to strategize, adjust, and tailor the HRIS, as well as test new applications and features.
- Create training materials, guides, and documentation for users.
- Provide training sessions and hands-on assistance to users.
- Ensure the system adheres to data security and privacy standards.
- Stay updated on trends and advancements in HRIS technology and providers.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- In-depth knowledge of functional analysis and system design.
- Comprehensive understanding of information systems, with advanced expertise in at least one commercial HRIS product.
