Join a groundbreaking team in the laser optics industry! Job Store Professional is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer on behalf of our client, a leader in advanced laser technology. This is a hands-on role with a company dedicated to innovation and excellence.
What You'll Do:
- Develop new processes to optimize and expand manufacturing capabilities
- Design and implement polishing tools and fixtures
- Specify, integrate, and support CNC optical manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve production process issues swiftly
- Train and educate personnel on processes in a clear, approachable manner
- Document solutions for production problems and new processes
- Evaluate new equipment for efficiency, operation, and maintenance
- Develop machine maintenance procedures and support plans
- Ensure ISO 9001:2015 compliance and best practices
- Analyze customer orders to determine optimal manufacturing processes
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, Material Science, Electrical, or Mechanical Science
- 5+ years of engineering experience in the optics industry
- Experience in the photonics industry is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively under production restrictions
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interpret rules and regulations
