Learn more at www.tredence.comHighlights Leads common data services (CDS) Pod, focusing on accelerators and frameworksPossible Design alternatives, pros and consTools / services evaluation and recommendationsResponsibilities:Cloud Architecture Design:Design scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform.Develop solutions for compute, storage, networking, databases, and security using Google Cloud Platform services like Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, etc.Create architectural diagrams and technical documentation outlining solutions.Cloud Migration:Lead the migration of on-premise applications and infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform.Assess current infrastructure and application landscape to provide recommendations for cloud migration and modernization.Security and Compliance:Implement best practices for securing cloud environments, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.Ensure solutions comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).Automation and DevOps:Automate cloud operations and infrastructure management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.Integrate CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery of cloud-based applications.Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and reliability.Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with development teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.Conduct architectural reviews, present cloud strategies to stakeholders, and mentor junior cloud engineers.Monitoring and Optimization:Implement cloud monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies using Google Cloud Platform services like Stackdriver, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud Logging.Continuously optimize cloud resources for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting:Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical issues in cloud applications and infrastructure.Ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities are built into cloud solutions.Innovation and Research:Stay current with Google Cloud Platform products, technologies, and industry trends.Propose new and innovative cloud services and tools to enhance business processes.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Experience:5+ years of experience in IT architecture, development, or operations, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments is a plus.Certifications:Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect (mandatory or preferred).Other relevant certifications such as Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer or Cloud DevOps Engineer are a plus.Skills:Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform core services: Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, VPC, Pub/Sub, etc.Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Go, or shell scripting.Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager).Deep knowledge of networking, security, and database management in a cloud environment.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a cloud environment.
